Ever meet someone who is just so cool you feel like you have to be friends with them? Maybe I am the only one, but that is exactly how I felt when I met Christina.  We worked in the same office with each other for a little less than a year and I thought she was just the coolest.  Her humor, intelligence, and drive are what I admired most.   When she reached out to me a few months back as she was looking for a wedding photographer, I was beyond thrilled.  As we met up for coffee we talked all about her fiancé, how they met, wedding day preparation and what they were looking for in their wedding day photographer. After that day I am happy to report I ended up being exactly the type of photographer they could imagine working with on one of the biggest days of their lives.

A couple months later I had the privilege of meeting Steven, the man who stole Christina’s heart.  Immediately as I met him I could tell he was the perfect match for Christina.  You tell how much they loved each other by the way they laughed and played together.  Once again the day had called for rain so I was monitoring the weather patterns like a hawk.  Scattered showers throughout the day made the light absolutely gorgeous, as we spent the afternoon exploring Malibu Creek State Park for their engagement session. Fast forward to this week and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at Gerry Ranch in Camarillo California this Saturday!!!! To say I am excited would be an understatement.
