To photograph this gorgeous Santa Ynez Valley real estate listing I partnered up with Ellen Hemming of Elam Crystal and Associates on a gorgeous January day.

But to know the full story I will have to take you back to October of last year when I journeyed to Israel with the Ranch Church. It was an aweful flight yet I got to sit by an awesome lady who I would later discover was the mom of the girl who would be my roommate for the duration of the trip.

Once we had landed and arrived at our first hotel, I met Ellen. We were both exhausted from our travels yet I could tell that there was something I just liked about her.  Maybe it was how easy she was to talk to,  how approachable she was, or how driven she was but either way I could tell that the church had chosen the perfect person to be my roommate for the next ten days.  We spent the rest of the trip venturing around Israel by day and talking into late into the night.  I was so grateful to have met such a remarkable friend and was thrilled to be able to continue our friendship once we got home to the Santa Ynez Valley.

Beyond our friendship, as a newer realtor who needs real estate photos, and a photographer who is just breaking into the real estate market we found that we would make the best business partnership.  Which leads us up to this January day, the day that I got to photograph her gorgeous listing in Santa Ynez with views of the vineyards as far as the eye can see.

Having been able to spend an extended amount of time with her, the combination of her unique personality traits and her drive will make a process that seems daunting become doable.
