There is no doubt that the Santa Ynez Valley has any sort of shortage in amazing wedding venues.  Between it’s contemporary, traditional, vineyard or farmhouse venues I truly believe our valley has the perfect wedding day venue for everyone.

 I recently had the opportunity to tour the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse.

While I have photographed weddings there before this time the location stopped me in my tracks.  As the marine layer rolled in along the ridges of the mountains I was reminded of the venues beauty and just how special it is. Located just 20 minutes outside of Los Olivos CA. the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse is the perfect mountaintop wedding location.  With lodging for up to 12 guests the house provides the perfect pre-ceremony getting ready photo backdrop. I guarantee your guests will be just as captivated by the beauty of the scenery as I was and your wedding will be the talk of town for years to come!  

The history of the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse is unique in and of itself.

The original structure was built in New Hampshire in the 1700’s.  After which a cabin from the Tennessee Appalachian mountains was added to the farmhouse. It was transported across the country to where it sits today. Being featured in Architectural Digest and Country Living Magazines.

It truly is a historical and architectural masterpiece. 

There is a new countywide ban on short term rentals they do have new requirements for residential stays.
