Congratulations to my dear friends, Lauren and KC were married a few weeks ago at the United Methodist Church in Lompoc, CA. 

There are SO many things that I fell in love with about this couple and this Central Coast Wedding.

When KC first met Lauren he knew she was different and fell in love with her values, strength and beauty.  He also fell madly in love with her sweet baby girl Logann and has taken the place as her father, role model and friend. KC and Laurens deep love and connection to their family was remarkable and I am blessed to have been able to witness and photograph their beautiful union. 

When Lauren and I first spoke over skype, I knew her wedding would nothing short of spectacular.  Her source of inspiration for her Central Coast Wedding was from her parents wedding. Lauren incorporated similar details from their wedding into her own.  Including holding the ceremony and reception in the same locations and even using a similar getaway vehicle.  The reception space was adorned with luxurious linens and strings of lights that cascaded from the ceiling. Their venues were perfectly transformed into Lauren’s dream wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I also loved how Lauren and KC also integrated elements into their day that were unique to who they were as individuals and as a family, such as the football for the garter toss.  

A few of my favorite moments included….

…the toast that their fathers gave announcing how proud they were of their children and how thrilled they were to begin to blend and grow their families together.  Another one of my favorite moments came when KC did a coordinated dance with his mother. Man, they could really dance! It was truly something else! My absolute favorite moment of the evening came when KC had a special dance with Logann and gave her a promise ring.  As he slipped it on her finger he vowed not only be “good father…..” Then the silence fell as KC intentionally paused Logann responded with “….great father.” And she instantly threw her little arms around his neck. 

Lauren and KC, I seriously cannot thank them enough for trusting me to capture such a remarkable day! Clients like you are the reason I love what I do!
