Truth be told I absolutely love backyard weddings! And Michelle and Daniel’s beautiful Dinosaur themed Los Olivos Wedding was no different.
Some of my favorite moments from this wedding included:
-
How fun the wedding party was really fun to work with. In all the pictures they wanted to pose with finger guns! Great.
-
You could see how every being was elated to celebrate this wedding alongside Michelle and Daniel, including the numerous hawks, woodpeckers and wildlife that we saw and heard throughout the day. Growing up in the Santa Ynez Valley I can say first hand that it is the most wildlife I’ve seen in one single day.
-
Their Ceremony recessional song was the theme song to Jurassic Park. Which was absolutely perfect for a Dinosaur themed wedding.
-
During Hannah’s, Michelle’s best friend toast she told the story of how when she first met Daniel she asked him “What are your intentions towards my best friend??” Daniel turned red and left the room. Luckily it would’ve taken a lot more than a little momentary embarrassment to change the way Daniel thought about Michelle.
-
My absolute favorite moment of the evening was when Michelle’s Grandfather stood up after the bride and groom spoke and said he had told Michelle if she didn’t marry Daniel, their family was going to adopt him. Classic.
Michelle and Daniel I extend my deepest gratitude toward you both for trusting me to capture such a special day! I wish you two a world of happiness!
