Favorite Weddings from 2018

As I begin my 2019 wedding season I cannot help myself but to reflect upon this past year and showcase my favorite weddings from 2018.

The list includes weddings at the Historic Santa Barbara Courthouse, The Maritime Museum, and Rancho Dos Amantes. Drum roll please….In no particular order we have….

Gwen & Jordan

Sometimes you wonder how you were so lucky. So lucky that a couple like Gwen and Jordan would stumble upon your work and so lucky that would choose you to be their wedding day photographer. Well, that is exactly how I felt capturing their wedding. Gwen and Jordan’s wedding at the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse was a sight to behold. They said their “I Do’s” in the Murral Room and then we paraded throughout the Santa Barbara Courthouse finding the perfect locations for couple portraits. Ending their celebration with their reception at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum located downtown in the Santa Barbara Harbor.

David & Paige

David and Paige were my first wedding of last year. As the brother of a close friend I could not be more thrilled to capture David’s wedding to the adorable Paige. Finding inspiration from the Great Gatsby they had a roaring 1920’s themed wedding. This included a white suit for him, a classic car and matching shoes that were simply adorable. Beyond having a great wedding day theme I found myself falling in love with this couple. Their generous and lovable spirits is what got me. You could feel the love that they had for one another and all their guests. They danced to their hearts content and ended the night with an epic grand exit.

Jada & Ryan

When Jada and Ryan reached out to me to photograph their elopement at the Santa Barbara Courthouse I could not be more excited. They were such a sweet couple who I immediately connected with. As soon as I met them and their family we connected as if we were old friends, laughing at each others jokes as we celebrated their love. Surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones the two said I do and were married at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. It was such a great day!

Lindsey & Michael

I met Lindsey when she initially moved to the Santa Ynez Valley. Over the course of a couple years we became good friends and I could not have been more thrilled when she told me that Michael had proposed and they were to be married at Rancho Dos Amantes in Paso Robles, Ca. Being set amongst the rolling hills of central California it could not have been a more beautiful day.
